Having made purposeful life decisions which have facilitated greater space to be fully present in life has been quite profound. I have caught myself in a connection where I’ve noticed I’m completely present without 101 thoughts/demands completing for my mind space. There is a peace and comfort in the moment knowing it is enough and I’m enough. These connections have been incredible powerful. The chase for worthiness through other means is in the distant past. As you go about your day – here’s to you and being enough and consciously creating space to experience greater connections.
Pride, Experience, Reason and Heart give us each a different story line. The boisterous ego – “that’s impossible” can easily drown out the quiet whisper of the heart – “Give it a try.” Fuel the whisper of the heart by taking time to quietly listen and give it a try – we drown out pride and increase the heart’s volume leading to courageous confidence.
To be without a clock requires presence and space.
Presence and space to consider the hour of the day by observing the sky in the morning with the sunrise, the misty water, the birds awakening, the sun dancing on the water in the afternoon, the loons call in the evening and the sun nestling into the evening water.
Presence and space to acknowledge that accounting for each minute and hour of the day shadows our view of what is unfolding before us. Time exists without a clock at all – being present in the now allows us to see the beauty that unfolds before us – no clock needed.
Uniquely you in the world
Imagine when people inquire about our work we say our REAL impact not our title and position:
“I build character, life skills and inspire purpose for young people” – high school coach.
“I feed and love resilient people who live in vulnerable conditions” – community service worker
“I guide and cheerlead those I birthed” – mother
“I bring to life history and learn from youth” – grandfather/grandmother
“I inspire spaces for greater connection” – renovator
“I mobilize people to fully embrace the life they want” – orthopedic surgeon
Explore your unique impact tag line. It might be the exact inspiration needed to remind yourself just how impactful YOU are in our world.
When you show up completely aligned to your purpose you radiate a lightness, an openness. You remove yourself from an expected outcome because you know what will unfold will be exactly as it should. Inspiration and heart radiates through you and meaningful, deep connections unfold.
The root of the word Courage is COR – the latin word for HEART. Courage originally meant – “to speak one’s mind by telling all one’s heart.” To speak honestly and openly of who we are and the love within. It seemed appropriate to launch into Valentine’s day with a reminder that giving love freely takes courage; a worthy pursuit that brings a ripple effect that we may not fully understand the impact of its spread.
